The Soft Moon, a prodigy of American industrial music and post-punk, performs in Riga. Brooklyn producer TRACE AMOUNT will also perform as a special guest!

The project of multi-instrumentalist Luis Vasquez, the Soft Moon confronts existential dread with an unflinching mix of industrial and post-punk. The murky electronics and riffs of 2010's self-titled debut hinted at the explosive blend of industrial and EBM Vasquez used to express his frustrations on albums such as 2015's Deeper and 2018's Criminal. With 2022's Exister, he presented a more collaborative and spacious-sounding version of the Soft Moon without sacrificing any of his music's cathartic impact.

The Soft Moon is back with the new album as dubbed Exister, which will be presented in Riga as part of the European tour. “The whole point of this record was to share every emotion that I feel,” says Luis Vasquez. “No two songs are the same. It’s about existing in the world as a human being and experiencing many emotions and experiences throughout life.”
