Laska opened in Riga in 2018 as a small bar built around friends and underground music. Over the years it became a meeting point for DJs, performers, bands, and music lovers -
a place known for its open atmosphere and eclectic programming.
Alongside the bar, the team began producing concerts and events through Laska
Production, working with different venues and artists. Since 2018, these events have supported emerging artists, hosted touring musicians, and connected different parts of music scene.
In September 2023, the original bar closed but the project continued. Later that year Laska V21 opened in a former industrial space on Vagonu iela 21. With more opportunities for experiments, live shows and events, Laska V21 continues the mission of showcasing bold music, emerging talent, and cultural exchange in Riga and beyond.
