TAKNADO — Vinyl Album Release Show “ANEMOIA”
On May 22, the Riga venue Laska V21 will host a live show by the Latvian synthwave trio Taknado, celebrating the release of their new vinyl album “Anemoia".

About the event
The album title refers to the concept of anemoia — a nostalgia for a time you have never experienced. This feeling lies at the core of Taknado’s sound: a neon-lit 80s atmosphere, analog synthesizers, and cinematic electronics that create memories of a past that never existed.
Taknado is a trio from Latvia working at the intersection of synthwave, retrowave, and dark synth.
The band has released two vinyl albums, completed two European tours, and produced soundtracks for computer games.
The project is considered one of the most notable representatives of the synthwave scene in the Baltic states.
At the Riga show, the band will perform new tracks from the album Anemoia, along with previously released songs — a powerful mix of retro electronics and live stage energy.
