Boebeck (HU) is a female-led new wave indie band from Hungary. Since releasing their debut album in March 2023, boebeck has toured both in their native country and abroad, hitting many of the relevant Hungarian festivals like Sziget and European showcase festivals, including Soundcity Liverpool, BIME Bilbao and Reeperbahn in Hamburg. 2024 was the biggest year for the band yet, with gigs in nine different European countries, a support spot for Paolo Nutini (UK) and the release of their new EP, ‘lucky’ bringing a new, more experimental sound. Their most recent EP, ‘evil under the sun’ explores issues of belonging and togetherness, and was released in February 2025.
